Against the tumultuous backdrop of New Guinea in 1945, The Guns of Mushu tells the story of an elite squad of eight Australian Z Special commandos who embark on a perilous mission: to infiltrate the Japanese-infested island of Mushu to identify the whereabouts of two fomidable naval guns that pose a serious threat to the Allied forces.
